Contact Volunteers Workshops Accommodations Marketplace Registration What's New Home

Panfest is a community effort and everyone helps out. In order to keep costs minimal to attendees, everyone is scheduled. All attendees over the age of 12 are required to do a minimum of two one hour shifts of volunteer time.

It's a wonderful opportunity to meet people and make some new friends. Presenting a workshop or ritual is not considered volunteer time. Please indicate your preference for your work shift or one will be assigned to you. Here's what we have available:

Meal Preparation/Cleanup
Preparing the selected meal and/or cleaning up after it.

Main Lodge Cleanup
Wipe down tables, sweep and mop floors

Dishes and Kitchen Cleanup
Wash dishes, wipe down counters, empty garbage, sweep and mop floor

Childcare
To assist the childcare providers we encourage all parents with children participating in the childcare program to lend a hand and do an extra volunteer shift assisting with the childcare program. Please note that the childcare program runs for only 4 hours each day.

Late Night Lodge Cleanup
For those night owls who are up after most have drifted away from the lodge. The garbage must be taken out, the tables wiped off, and the floors swept and mopped.

Security
Patrol the area to ensure only registered guests are present. Watch for any sign of trouble.

Medical/first-aid duty
Volunteers must have current certification

Washroom and Shower Cleanup
Clean sinks. toilets, and showers. Sweep and mop floors, ensure supplies are topped off.

PanFest Kids Area
There will be some daily childcare time provided in the form of children's workshops and activities so the parents have an opportunity to have some free time to attend workshops and seminars. So, if you wish to present a kids workshop or ritual, please let us know in the space provided on the back of the registration form. All parents using child care will be required to volunteer an additional hour in this area.

This is not a babysitting service.  We provide activities for kids to help make Paganism accessible to them, and to try to make sure that they're not bored to tears.
