| The Site
We
have been fortunate enough to reserve a private campground on a lake in
central Alberta. Details of location will be in your confirmation
package upon registration. The camp features a full commercial
kitchen, cabins, bunkhouses, tent spaces, washrooms, and, of course,
the lake. A limited number of camping spaces means that the
tenting space is assigned on a "first come, first served" basis, so if
you want to bring a tent, be sure and register early! There are
nature trails and beautiful scenery to enjoy, with lots of room to
play, swim, dance, drum, meditate or just plain relax. There will be no
lifeguards on duty so all swimming is done at your own risk. As is
traditional at pagan gatherings, the festival site will be "Clothing
Optional" in all areas for the entire weekend, except for the main
lodge. Hot showers and flush toilets are located in the midst
of the bunkhouses, and an outdoor fire pit is available.
There will be a separate area set aside for private rituals or
meditation. All meals will be signaled by the dinner bell and are
served at the dining hall on a first-come first-served basis. The site
is wheelchair accessible.
Accommodation Type
Please
let us know on your registration form if you wish to use one of the
bunkhouses, or if you would like to pitch a tent in the tenting area.
If you have a preference of roommates please indicate this and we will
do our best to consider your preferences, though we cannot make any
guarantees. It is necessary to bring sleeping bags, and pillows.
Accommodation preferences are on a first-come first-served basis. Those
registering before June 21, 2008 will get preference. |
